By air: there are several routes available to get to Lhasa of Tibet.

• Beijing-Lhasa, daily flight, all around the year available
• Chengdu -Lhasa,daily flight, all around the year available
• Xi'an-Lhasa, daily flight, all around the year available
• Guangzhou-Lhasa, daily flight, all around the year available
• Kathmandu-Lhasa, every Tuesday and Saturday
• Chongqing-Lhasa, daily flight, all around the year available
• Zhongdian-Lhasa, daily flight, all around the year available

By Train:there are several routes available to get to Tibet.

• Beijing-Lhasa
• Chengdu -Lhasa
• Shanghai-Lhasa
• Guangzhou-Lhasa
• Chongqin-Lhasa
• Xi'an-Lhasa
• Xi'ning-Lhasa
• Lanzhou-Lhasa

There are daily trains shuttled between Beijing, Xi'an, Xi'ning, Lanzhou and Lhasa. And every other day between Shanghai, Guangzhou, chongqing, Chengdu and Lhasa. There are the acurate dates for these trains as below:

By load: there are serveral routes available so far.

Due to the long distance, there are few people would like to take Sichuan-Tibet; Qinghai-Tibet and Yunnan Tibet road except the real adventure people. If you are planning a tour from Kathmandu to Tibet via Nepal-Tibet highway, please avoid to travel in August, there may be mountain slide occured due to the rainy season.
